Do you understand why I stand here?
Not for glory, nor for absolution.
The world has strayed from its path,
and I have been given the burden to correct it.
You call it cruelty.
I call it necessity.
If no one bears this sin,
then all will fall together.
Faith is not a lie meant to comfort the weak,
but a blade that forces one to face the truth.
Those who cannot endure it
will be burned before the light arrives.
I do not seek your understanding,
nor do I ask for your forgiveness.
Remember this:
the world endures because someone is willing to become evil.
Some worlds are destined to collapse by the choices they insist on making.
I no longer seek to save what has no desire to be saved.
I know now what is worth guarding.
And I no longer need to oppose what is false in order to prove that I stand on what is right.
